To rival against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro?
Following the launch of the M6S last January, Meizu is gearing up for another phone release with the E3 this March 21. Touted as a rival to Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro, the E3 is reported to sport a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, 8-megapixel front camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3300mAh battery. Making it better than the Redmi Note 5 Pro is its dual rear camera setup: The E3 will have a 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel setup.
The E3 will reportedly have three variants, ranging from a 4GB/32GB version to a higher-tier 6GB/128GB model. The former will be priced at 1499 yuan(~Php 12.4k), while the latter will have a 1999 yuan(~Php 16.5k) SRP, making the E3 slightly more expensive than the Redmi Note 5 Pro (based on its India SRP).
