Will a cheaper M1 Note Mini be offered for sale?

We’ve been impressed by Meizu’s announcement of their affordable M1 Note around a month ago, but it seems that there’s an even cheaper version of that particular smartphone coming out before this month is over. Yes folks, the M1 Note Mini is rumored to be the more affordable version of the already dirt cheap M1 Note, and may possibly have a price tag around 4-5K.

The rumored M1 Note Mini may come with a 5-inch, HD display, LTE connectivity and a 64-bit processor MediaTek processor like the M1 Note. It’s possible that the M1 Note Mini is the company’s answer to Xiaomi’s upcoming Redmi 2. The new phone is set to be announced on January 28, although that’s not the only thing that Meizu is announcing, according to their invite. There’s also a payment system en route (just like Apple), as well as possibly smart home devices and fitness.

We’ve heard through Novo7 Tech that they’ll try to bring in the M1 Note to the PH, so maybe they can bring this one in as well if there’s an international version available. One can hope.
