A new, affordable Windows Phone is coming
Windows Phone fans (yes, we know you’re out there) may have been wondering if the next Lumia smartphone to be released by Microsoft would be a flagship device. We’re sorry to be the bringer of bad news – it seems that the next phone in Microsoft’s lineup is another budget device, this time it’s the Lumia 435. The affordable handset has taken a trip to Indonesia (where it was certified) as well as the FCC, which has partly revealed the specs of this affordable little device.
Since it’s a budget smartphone, you’re looking at a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU, as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera. It’s slightly smaller than the previous Lumia 520.
No pricing has been set as of yet, though it’s probably not a stretch of the imagination to assume that it’ll be priced near the Lumia 520.
