This basic phone can still go on the internet and surf the web

Microsoft’s latest phone announcement isn’t the next Lumia flagship – it’s actually the complete opposite of that. Microsoft’s next smartphone is the Nokia 215, a dirt cheap smartphone that can still connect to the internet and yes, it does Facebook as well.

The Nokia 215 comes pre-installed with Facebook and Messenger, which, let’s be honest, is basically the entirety of the internet to people out on the boonies. It browses the web via Opera’s Mini Browser and comes with the company’s Bing Search engine, and has Bluetooth on board. Since this is basically a featurephone on steroids, you can expect the battery to last up to 29 days on standby.

When we say dirt-cheap, we mean it – the Nokia 215 is priced at a mere $29 before taxes (that’s Php 1305).
