More Sources Confirm Eventual End of Galaxy Note Line

If you are one of those who remain in disbelief that Samsung will axe the Galaxy Note line, more sources have told Reuters that there will be no more Galaxy Note phone next year. Those who have knowledge of the matter point to the stylus-toting phablet’s dwindling sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite rumors of a cheaper Galaxy Note 20, Reuters’ sources said that Samsung has no plans of developing a new version of the Galaxy Note 20 for 2021. For next year, Samsung plans to make the S-Pen feature available to the Galaxy S21 Ultra, while the next Galaxy Fold will be the spiritual successor of the Galaxy Note with its native S-Pen support.

Samsung declined to comment on the matter but given that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will have support for the S-Pen, the demise of the Galaxy Note line might be inevitable.
