Meet Moto’s two affordable phones
Motorola has just announced two of its budget contenders in India recently. The Moto E5 and E5 Plus are priced at INR 9999 (Php 7.7K) and INR 11,999 (Php 9.3K) respectively. The Moto E5 sports a 5.7-inch, 18:9 1440 x 720 resolution IPS display, along with a Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. On the rear is a 13-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens while selfie duties are handled by a 5-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera. There’s a 4000mAh battery inside, which should last quite a bit considering the hardware inside the phone.
The Moto E5 Plus, on the other hand, has a larger 6-inch 18:9 display but the same 1440 x 720 resolution as its smaller brother. Its Snapdragon 430 processor is a little more powerful which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The rear camera is a 12-megapixel deal with a f/2.0 aperture lens, while the front camera is a 5-megapixel deal with a f/2.0 aperture lens. The battery in the Moto E5 Plus is a little bigger, coming in at 5000mAh. Unlike the Moto E5’s plastic back, the Moto E5 Plus has a glass back.
Both phones have fingerprint scanners, along with Android Oreo 8.0. Unfortunately, there’s no fast charging feature for either phone.
