Motorola’s Moto X5 Will Allegedly Come With Quad-cameras, iPhone X-like Notch

Along with an 18:9 display of course

As Mobile World Congress approaches, all manner of leaks are going to start coming out of the woodwork. Take this leak of Motorola’s upcoming Moto X5, courtesy of Droidlife. The upcoming Moto X5 will allegedly have quad-cameras scattered in its body (that’s two in the front and two in the back) as well as a 18:9, 5.9-inch FHD+ display that has an iPhone X-like notch at the top.

The phone has many of the design cues of Motorola’s Moto X4 though obviously the rear camera module now holds two cameras instead of one. There’s no home button in the front and there’s no sign of a fingerprint scanner anywhere in the body, so either Motorola completely nixed that feature or the X5 is one of the first wave of Android phones that will have Synaptic’s under-display fingerprint scanner technology.

There’s also a mention of Moto AI, possibly Motorola’s own attempts at baking in machine-learning AI into their phones. There’s scant details about the phone’s internals or other specific features at this point, so take this particular leak with a pinch of salt for now.
