MyPhone Iceberg Teased for July 26 Launch
There used to be a time when companies just needed to launch new products twice a year. However that’s no longer the case especially with local smartphone brands. Based on what we’ve seen in the last few months they release handsets almost quarterly! While other companies have already showcased their new offerings, MyPhone has yet to take the wraps off their latest flagship. That time though has finally come. In a series of teasers posted on their Facebook Page, MyPhone is geared to launch a smartphone we believe will be called the MyPhone Iceberg. This is big change for the usual naming convention of MyPhone since they usually have numbers attached to their models.
Based on what we’ve gathered so far, the MyPhone Iceberg is equipped with a MediaTek Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and sports a 5.7-inch IPS HD display. It will also have a 12.0-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5.0-megapixel front-facing snapper. For the operating system it will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1. We don’t have all the other details but several sites are claiming that the MyPhone Iceberg will retail for Php12,000 and it will have a 2600mAh battery.
We’ll definitely be there to cover the launch event on the 26th. Expect more information as soon as we get them!
