OPPO is showing people just how good the cameras on their Reno4 by letting Nadine Lustre shoot the contents of her visual album with its cameras. The photos included in the Preview article are part of her “Wildest Dreams” album, shot as a collaborative campaign between Nadine, Preview, and Oppo Philippines with photographer Cru Camara.
This visual album shows us what the Reno4’s camera is capable of. Most of the photos let us see the extent of the camera’s features such as the AI Color Portrait that lets you highlight specific colors on a photo, the Night Flare portrait that takes photos in dark environments without flash, and the 960 fps AI Slow-Motion video feature for dramatic slow-motion clips.
On the Preview interview, the actress gushed about Reno4’s AI Color Portrait feature that helps keeps her Instagram feed on brand. “I [keep my Instagram feed] color-coordinated. What’s nice about it (AI Color Portrait) is that it highlights a specific color, so when I upload it, at least coordinated siya with everything else on my feed.”
The photos were taken in differently lit setups allowing us to see the versatility of Reno4’s camera. To recap, the Reno4 has a 48-megapixel IMX586 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera; 2-megapixel f/2.4 mono camera and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. The front shooters are made up of a 32-megapixel f/2.4 IMX616 camera and Smart Sensor that allows for sharp selfies photos in different lighting.
If you’re privy to the extended features of your smartphone’s camera out-of-the-box, hoping to go beyond taking vanilla selfies and perhaps go for a full-fledged concept shoot just like this Wildest Dreams campaign, the Reno4 should be on the top of your list if you’re gunning to take creative photoshoots.
Nadine is one of OPPO’s Reno4 ambassadors for the #ClearlyTheBestYou campaign which includes some of the artists from the indie record label Careless Manila that was launched in August of this year.
