Nokia G11, G21 Renders Surface, Ditching Circular Camera Module

While HMD Global has been pretty low-key when it comes to phone releases lately, renders of the Nokia G11 and G21 has surfaced, revealing a design that looks rather familiar.

Instead of the circular camera module, both the Nokia G21 and G11 will have an oblong-shaped module housed in the corner, making both phones look like a Motorola Moto G31 from the back. Both phones have a ribbed polycarbonate back panel, while the G21 will have a 50-megapixel main rear camera.

Based on a previous Geekbench listing, the Nokia G21 will come with a Unisoc T606 processor with 4GB RAM and Android 11 out of the box. An FCC listing, on the other hand, adds that the Nokia G21’s 50-megapixel main rear camera will be accompanied by two 2-megapixel cameras, a 6.5-inch HD+ display with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, 128GB internal storage, and a 5050mAh battery.

Judging from the renders, both the Nokia G21 and G11 will have a dedicated Google Assistant button and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

There’s no word when HMD Global will make both phones official, but our best guess is later this February during MWC 2022. Aside from these two phones, HMD Global may announce other phones as well.
