Not Pushing Thru? Samsung Might NOT Launch Galaxy S23 FE

For those who can remember, Samsung did have an FE (short for Fan Edition) versions of its Galaxy S-series phones during the S20 and S21. Samsung did not push through with the Galaxy S22 FE, and that might be the same case with the Galaxy S23 FE, as mentioned by notable leakster Roland Quandt.

While Quandt said “this year”, it’s safe to assume at this point that there will be no Galaxy S23 FE at all. While the FE series are positioned to be Samsung’s flagship killer offerings, they often lag behind the competition because of their pricing and the timing of their release.

Those who want something similar to an FE offering might have to consider the Galaxy A-series instead, specifically the Galaxy A5x series since they are the closest you can get to a Galaxy S FE offering.

Last year’s Galaxy A53 checks all the essentials on being a “substitute” to the Galaxy S22 FE, and we expect the same for the upcoming Galaxy A54. Some of its alleged features include the use of an Exynos 1380 processor that supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main (no word if it will be the same sensor used on the Galaxy S23 series), 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and 5-megapixel macro, and a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 120hz adaptive refresh rate.

With the alleged renders of the Galaxy A54 having a resemblance to the Galaxy S23, we speculate that it MIGHT be the Galaxy S23 FE we were hoping for.
