Two more octa-core Zopo phones are set to arrive in the PH
Yesterday we reported that Novo7 Tech teased the ultra-thin ZP1000 on their Facebook page. Well, apparently the ZP1000 will be joined by two more octa-core smartphones in the PH: the ZP980+ and the ZP998.
These two octa-core phones have 5-inch and 5.5-inch full HD displays respectively, and will obviously pack MediaTek’s latest octa-core SOC, much like their other competitors in the market.

While the ZP980+ looks to be your standard 5-inch full HD octa-core smartphone, the ZP998 aims to differentiate itself by utilizing two features: the BVE voice technology and gesture recognition. BVE voice tech takes the ambient noise level in a room and adjusts the volume of the sound coming out of the earpiece automatically, which means you’ll always be able to hear the person you’re talking to perfectly, no matter what kind of acoustical environment you’re in. The gesture controls are exactly that – gesture controls – that allow you to flip a page of the website or e-book you’re reading without having to press a button.
While Novo7 Tech has not posted any of the prices for these devices as of yet, you can expect these new smartphones to cost more than $269.99 (or around Php 12052) for the ZP980+ and $309.99 (or around 13837) for the ZP998.
