Party Anywhere with the Nude Audio Move L Speakers!
It’s a pretty known fact that using Bluetooth to stream your music to speakers is without compromise. While you get the convenience brought about by wireless connectivity, the sound quality usually suffers, especially when you crank up the volume. There are actually only a few trustworthy brands out there when it comes to Bluetooth speakers. We’re happy to report that we can add one more brand and product to that list — the Nude Audio Move L Bluetooth Speakers.
The good folks over at Beyond the Box sent us the speakers for review. We did some research and apparently the “L” in the name stands for “Large”. There are smaller sized Nude Audio Move speakers (M and S). The “L” is definitely more for bigger rooms and offices while the “S” and “M” are more for personal consumption of music.

Cool and Stylish Design

Despite the size, we were very impressed with how compact and light the speakers were! That’s probably due to the lightweight materials they used. Don’t think though that this breaks easily. The sides of the speakers are actually wrapped with some sort of thick silicon sleeve. That should be good enough to protect it from minor drops and bumps.
Another interesting element is the thick rope lanyard for easy carrying and portability. It’s funny because we were asked several times by friends and officemates where we bought our “cool pouch”. Imagine their surprise when we show the Bude Audio Move L to them and they realize it’s not a pouch but a portable wireless speaker.
What’s in the box?
Inside the box we found the speakers, a wall charger, different adapters, a manual/quick start guide, and a bunch of stickers from Nude Audio. By the way if you will really bring this around you’ll need to carry the charger with you since it has a 5V DC port and not your usual micro USB. The downside is that it’s another cable to bring but the upside is that it will charge faster. We also would have wanted Nude to include some sort of carrying pouch and maybe a 3.5mm audio cable (so we don’t have to buy).

Pairing was painless and easy. We quickly connected the speakers to our smartphone and the party was on*! We’re happy to report that the speakers were able to deliver clean, bassy, and loud sounds. We were amazed at the max volume considering we were connected only through Bluetooth. It can easily fill up a room with around 30sq meters in size, making it perfect for on-the-go entertainment. For the bass, it’s not the super heart pumping kind, but a more natural and full type. You usually don’t get this with a lot of Bluetooth speakers.

Interface is really easy as the controls are on the top and the ports are on the side, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, 5V DC port and full size USB port so you can also charge your phone but only when the speakers are charging which is handy since streaming via Bluetooth can eat a lot of battery.
Speaking of battery life the Move L speakers are rated to work for 8 hours. In our test it was able to play non-stop music for more than 7 hours before we saw the red LED warning light. Volume was medium level but it could already fill up a sq 20m room.
Awesome Speakers that Won’t Leave a Burning Hole in Your Pocket
A lot of the really good Bluetooth speakers these days go up to Php10,000. The fantastic news is that the Nude Audio Move L delivers almost the same performance but at a fraction of the price. This model (large) retails for Php5,900+ at Beyond the Box and Digital Hub/Walker stores which we think is a very competitive and good price already.
If you’re in the market for portable wireless speakers you definitely need to keep this at the top of your list!
