Starmobile Diamond X1 New Details and Photos

Last night Starmobile confirmed a few details and specifications about the upcoming octa-core powered Starmobile Diamond X1 via e-mail to tech bloggers and media. As expected the Diamond X1 will carry the new 1.7GHz octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6592 Chipset). The more interesting bit is that it will sport what looks like the same camera set-up of the much lauded Starmobile Knight, Muse, and Diamond V7 — 18MP with BSI at the back and 8MP with BSI up front.

What caught our attention the most though was the form factor. According to Starmobile the Diamond X1 will just be 7mm thin. That’s crazy good considering we’re talking about a 6.0-inch phablet!

We’re definitely excited to get our hands on a unit. Hopefully we can get one even before it commercially launches in January. As soon as we get more information about the Diamond X1 we’ll post again here on Unbox.
