Confirms dual cameras and notch-free display
Just a few days before HTC will officially unveil the U12+, leakster Evan Blass shared on his Twitter account the official renders and colors of HTC’s upcoming flagship phone.
From the press images, the U12+ is confirmed to have a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel f/1.75 Ultrapixel wide camera and a 16-megapixel f/2.6 zoom camera capable of up to 2X optical zoom. Both camera moduls have OIS, PDAF, and Laser Autofocus.
The notch-free front display is a 6-inch Super LCD6 screen with QHD+ resolution and support for DCI-P3 color space and HDR10. The front camera is an 8-megapixel f/2.0 sensor with a wide-angle lens.
Speaking of its multimedia capabilities, the U12+ can shoot 4K at 60FPS, 1080P Slo-mo at 240FPS, and 96khz/24-bit high-resolution audio.
Other specs include a Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 with support for Displayport, and a 3500mAh battery.
HTC might have other surprises in store for the U12+ come May 23 so stay tuned.
