After being teased for the past few weeks, OnePlus finally unveils the successor to last year’s Nord with the Nord 2. Aside from having a custom Dimensity processor, the Nord 2 stands out for its 50-megapixel IMX 766 main camera—which is the same camera used on the Find X3 Pro and OnePlus 9 series. The OnePlus Nord 2 also gets a price in the Philippines, courtesy of Digital Walker, the official distributor for the brand in the country.

This time around, OnePlus kept the camera setup simple with the Nord 2, opting for a single 32-megapixel selfie snapper ands a triple rear camera setup. The ultra-wide and mono camera are still there, while the IMX 766 main camera is a major upgrade from the OG Nord’s IMX 586 main camera—the former has a vastly bigger 1/1.56-inch sensor, while the latter is a 1/2-inch sensor.
Save for a cleaner punch-hole, the display features of the Nord 2 is similar to its OG brethren: Full HD+ and AMOLED with 90hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ and DCI-P3. However, the Nord 2 gets stereo speakers and a bigger 4500mAh 2-cell battery that supports 65w WarpCharge wired charging. It comes with Android 11-based OxygenOS 11.3 out of the box, and OnePlus promises 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

Digital Walker announced the official price of the Nord 2, which is at Php 21,990 for the 8GB/128GB Blue Haze model and Php 25,990 for the 12GB/256GB Gray Sierra Model.
Digital Walker will be holding pre-orders at select stores and online from July 23, 2pm to July 25, 5pm. All confirmed pre-orders will get the OnePlus Buds Z with their purchase.
