The OnePlus Nord 3 is one of the more awaited phones in the latter half of 2023, and with a launch expected to happen sometime in July, photos of what appears to be an official retail package of the phone have surfaced–with one of the highlights being its use of a Dimensity 9000 processor.
From its looks, the Nord 3 does look similar to the Nord CE 3 Lite, though the former is expected to be a budget flagship device since it comes with a Dimensity 9000 processor that’s paired with up to 64GB RAM. Its flat 120hz OLED display reportedly comes with a 1240×2772 resolution, and the triple rear camera setup reportedly consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Other notable specs include 256GB internal storage (at least what’s shown on its About page), a 5000mAh battery with 80w SuperVOOC charging, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. In terms of design, the Nord 3 will retain the alert slider and have an IR blaster–the latter being a rare feature on any OnePlus device.
Despite being based mostly on the China-only Ace 2V, the Nord 3 might be slightly better if its 50-megapixel main camera uses either an IMX766 or IMX890 sensor. In addition to that, the Nord 3 will be made available globally, so we expect it to land in the Philippines as well.
