OPPO makes the A3, the brand’s toughest budget phone, to the Philippines, with a Php 9k price tag. Despite being a budget phone, the A3 is stylish and slim at just 7.68mm thick and weighs just 168g. It comes with US Military-Grade Shock Resistance, where it can sustain falls from a height of 1.6 meters and from 1.2 meters for up to 20 times.
Aside from its durability, the A3 has multiple liquid resistance and Splash Touch, making the phone still functional despite spilling your favorite drinks like milk tea, coffee, and tea or smudging its screen with oil or getting soaked under the rain.
The A3 features a capable processor with its Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor that offers a solid, lag-free performance with improved power efficiency. You also get ColorOS 14 out of the box, and OPPO guarantees smooth performance for at least three years of regular use.
The A3 also has a capable 50-megapixel main camera that can take photos good enough for social media, and has features like AI Portrait Retouching to make your portraits look more flattering. Battery life is not an issue thanks to its 5100mAh battery that supports 45w SuperVOOC charging, where it only takes around 1.5 hours for a full charge. You also get Smart Charging to keep your battery health on top for up to four years.
You also get BeaconLink, a feature initially available on the Reno12 series, allowing the A3 to make voice calls via Bluetooth to other supported OPPO devices at up to 80 meters in open areas without signal or WiFi connection or up to 10 meters in crowded places.
The A3 has an official price of Php 8,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and is available in all official OPPO stores nationwide and in OPPO’s e-commerce platforms on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. You can also avail it via Home Credit for as low as Php 1,079 via credit cards in select dealers at 0% interest for 6 months.
