Design

While both have glossy backs, the Redmi Note 10 uses Gorilla Glass 3 for the back panel while the A74 settles for polycarbonate. Both phones have a similarly-sized camera bump, though they differ in camera arrangement. Both phones also don’t have rear-mounted fingerprint scanners.

Display

The main selling point for both phones is that they offer a Full HD+ AMOLED display at an affordable price point. They have roughly the same size at 6.4-inches and have punch-hole notches: centrally-placed on the Redmi Note 10, and on the left corner on the A74.

While both come with a conventional 60hz refresh rate, the A74’s panel is better since it comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner–with the Redmi Note 10, you get the side-mounted variety. The Redmi Note 10 makes up for it in the audio department with stereo speakers.

Cameras

Both phones are more evenly matched in the camera department. For the rear cameras, both the A74 and the Redmi Note 10 has a 48-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras, though the A74’s main camera has a brighter F/1.7 aperture while the Redmi Note 10 has an additional ultra-wide-angle camera.

For selfies, the Redmi Note 10 sports a 13-megapixel snapper, while the A74 gets a higher-resolution 16-megapixel one.

Internals

The Redmi Note 10 has the upper hand when it comes to internals as its Snapdragon 678 processor performs better than the A74’s Snapdragon 662 processor as seen with synthetic benchmarks.

This because the Snapdragon 678 has higher-clocked cores (2.2Ghz vs 2Ghz on the Snapdragon 662), along with a better GPU.

As for RAM and storage, both phones do come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, though the Redmi Note 10 has a more affordable 4GB/64GB variant.

Battery

Both phones are on even ground in this department, as both come with a beefy 5000mAh battery that has support for fast 33w wired charging. Aside from that, both the Redmi Note 10 and A74 have the required charger included in the box.

OPPO A74 VS Redmi Note 10 Price

The Redmi Note 10 is priced at Php 9,990 for the 6GB/128GB model and Php 8,490 for the 4GB/64GB model. The A74, on the other hand, is priced at Php 11,999 though you get a pair of wired earphones in the box–the Redmi Note 10 does not have any.
