Here’s Your Best Look at the OPPO Find X7 Series

While OPPO confirmed that the Find X7 series will be unveiled in China on January 8, the brand is starting to take preorders for the standard Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. You are reading it right: there’s no Pro model for the Find X7 series, so OPPO is opting for the Ultra branding instead.

Starting with the standard Find X7, you get four color options: two of them (Desert Silver Moon and The Sea and the Sky) will have a mix of leather and glass for their back panels, while the other two (Smoky Purple and Starry Sky Black) go for an all-glass back panel.

Looking closely at the renders, there’s an alert slider on the left side of the phone, adopting a key design element that’s commonly found on OnePlus phones. Rumored features of the Find X7 include a 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 9300 processor, and a 5000mAh battery with 100w charging. According to the listing, the Find X7 will be available in 12GB/256GB, 16GB.256GB, 16/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations.

Moving to the Find X7 Ultra, OPPO’s next premium flagship phone will have two periscope cameras, and its camera setup will cover a focal length range of 14mm to 135mm. The latest rumors state that the Find X7 Ultra will have 6.82-inch 120hz AMOLED display with a WQHD+ resolution and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It also adds support for 50w wireless charging as well.

OPPO previously confirmed that the Find X7 series will use a LYT-900 sensor, but we expect the Ultra version to have it. The LYT-900 is a 1-inch sensor that shares similarities with the IMX989, so it remains to be seen how different is this sensor–or how the LYT-900 will be better than the IMX989.
