After several Find X models being limited to mostly China, OPPO has unveiled the Find X8 series and confirmed that it will get a wider global release. The lineup comprises the Find X8 and X8 Pro, with the former having a 6.59-inch 120hz LTPO Flat AMOLED panel and the latter getting a 6.78-inch 120hz LTPO AMOLED panel with a micro-quad-curved design.
Both phones have a peak brightness of 4500nits, an optical fingerprint scanner, and a punch-hole for a 32-megapixel selfie camera. A Dimensity 9400 processor powers both phones and you also get an Alert Slider. Both phones support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging and have an IP69 rating. Both have big batteries, with the Find X8 having a 5630mAh cell while the Pro model gets a 5910mAh cell.
Both phones feature Hasselblad Tuning and OPPO’s HyperTone image engine. The standard Find X8’s camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel LYT-700 main shooter with OS, a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide camera with autofocus, and a 50-megapixel IMX882 periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and a new triple prism design.
The Find X8 Pro features a bigger 50-megapixel LYT-808 sensor for the main camera and a second 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope camera with 6x optical zoom and OIS. The Pro version also has a “Quick Button” that can be used to open the camera app, activate a dedicated shutter, and toggle the zoom.
The OPPO Find X8 starts at CNY 4199 (~Php 35k) for the 12/256GB model, while the Find X8 Pro starts at CNY 5299 (~Php 44k) for the same variant. OPPO confirmed that the Find X8 is coming to the Philippines soon, so stay tuned for local availability.
