The frame of the Oppo R5 is individually polished after it’s machined to take out the tiny machining marks that the production process leaves. Because the R5 is so thin, heat management is obviously an issue – so Oppo came out with Cool Element – an innovative way to take heat away from the components that matter inside the R5. Much like the N3, the R5 is also equipped with the company’s VOOC quick charging technology that allows you to go from 0% to 75% in a little over 30 minutes. Speaking of battery, the R5 is equipped with a 2000mAh battery, surprising for a phone that’s as skinny as the R5.
The R5 carries a price tag of USD 499.
