OPPO Philippines announced that the Reno5 series is coming soon to our shores. This time around, OPPO will be bringing both 4G and 5G versions of the Reno5–just like when it had the Reno4 4G and Reno4 Z 5G last time.
Both versions will be utilizing OPPO’s new Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System, which consists of software-based Portrait Perception Engine and Quality Enhancement Engine that works together with the Reno5 4G and 5G’s hardware to deliver better quality videos.
OPPO Philippines did not specify further details about both phones, though we are sure that the 4G version is the one that was announced in Vietnam several weeks ago. The Reno5 4G gets the same internals as the Reno4 4G, though this time you are getting a faster 90hz refresh rate, higher-resolution front and rear cameras, a bigger 4300mAh battery, and extra-fast 50w wired charging.
There’s no word yet on the Reno5 5G coming to our shores, but since the Dimensity 1000+-powered Reno5 Pro 5G became official in India, we might be getting that phone in the Philippines as the Reno5 5G.
