One will have an in-display fingerprint sensor
Just as it is working on the successor of the F7 with the F9, OPPO is working on a successor to the R15 series with the R17 series. There will be two variants: one is an in-display fingerprint scanner-sporting R17 Pro.
While the other is the vanilla R17 with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner:
Rumored specs for both variants include a yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 670 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, a 6.4-inch “liquid drop” display, and a 3500mAh battery. For both models, they will get an front camera upgrade with a 25-megapixel Sony IMX 576 sensor—the same one found on the OPPO F7.
