Here are the Alleged Specs of the OPPO Reno12

With the Reno11 series complete, OPPO is preparing for the Reno12 series soon, and new updates on its alleged specs has been revealed by Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

According to Digital Chat Station, there’s a prototype Reno12  that’s in the works that has a Dimensity 8200 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage. The Reno11 Pro did use the same processor, so it’s possible that the standard Reno12 is getting a big upgrade, at least in China. It will reportedly get an IP65 rating, which is nice to have since it’s a feature that’s notably missing on the Reno11.

Moving to its cameras, the Reno12 will retain the 50-megapixel f/1.8 main and 8-megapixel ultra-wide cameras, the portrait telephoto camera will be getting a new 50-megapixel sensor and a f/2.0 aperture. It will reportedly get a 5000mAh battery with 80w wired charging, along with a 120hz curved AMOLED display with a 1.5k resolution.

If the rumors are true and the specs will also apply to global models, the Reno12 appears to be a good upgrade over the Reno11 especially if you consider the processor of choice and the telephoto camera. There are little details about the Reno12 Pro, but rumors point to a potent Dimensity 9300 processor–and that can make the Reno12 Pro a solid flagship killer.
