Can you find the front camera?
In the quest for an all-screen display that is free of notches, punch holes, and pop-up mechanisms, the ultimate solution is to find a way of placing the front camera right behind the display. While Samsung has been working on such a solution, OPPO is several steps ahead of the Korean giant as they teased their first phone with an under-display camera.
For those seeking the perfect, notchless smartphone screen experience – prepare to be amazed. ?

From the teaser post on Twitter, you don’t see any camera cutout from the display. Instead, the under-display camera only activates when the camera app is on and is on selfie mode. Even after taking a quick snap, the actual camera module is nowhere to be found.
The only hint that there’s an actual camera underneath the display is with a brief animation when opening the camera app.
The tech is currently a prototype for now, but expect OPPO to make this a consumer feature soon.
