Booking flights with Philippine Airlines is now made easier with its partnership with GCash. The integration of Philippine Airlines with GCash means that users can make use of features like GGives and GLife to help them book flights conveniently.

The partnership was made official with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Bonifacio Global City last November 8.

“Now, travelers who frequently fly out to domestic and international destinations can benefit from this partnership through seamless access to Philippine Airlines flights, paired with easy payment options on the GCash app,” Philippine Airlines President and COO Stanley Ng said.

This partnership is part of Philippine Airlines’ push for a multi-year digital transformation strategy. This is on top of Philippine Airlines making upgrades to its fleet, cabins, products, and services. Through this partnership, Philippine Airlines hopes that this will boost the efficiency of flight bookings, sales promotions and customer payment transactions.

Aside from offering seamless payment options for booking PAL flights, GCash will also be offering promos as well. These include seat sales and weekend promos, where users can save up to 20% when booking their flights through the GCash app.

“Together, PAL and GCash are redefining the future of travel, where simplicity, convenience, and connectivity are at the forefront,” Ng adds.
