While the realme 8 5G is relatively new, having officially launched a few weeks ago, the brand is set to unveil a more affordable version—this time having 4GB of RAM instead of 8GB. The realme 8 5G (4GB) was spotted in their official Shopee store in the Philippines for Php 10,990, though it is not yet available for purchase.

Save for less RAM, the realme 8 5G is the brand’s budget 5G phone made even more affordable. Like its 8GB sibling, the 4GB variant is also powered by a Dimensity 700 processor and comes with 128GB of internal storage. The display is also a 6.52-inch Full HD+ IPS panel with a smooth 90hz refresh rate.
You also get a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras, along with a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery with support 18w wired charging.
realme 8 5G (4GB) Price Philippines
With a Php 10,990 SRP, the 4GB version of the realme 8 5G is Php 1k more affordable than  the 8GB version. However, the realme 8 5G (4GB) will have a sub-Php 10k price tag on July 15 at Shopee’s Mega Payday sale, making it another sub-Php 10k 5G phone option to consider aside from the POCO M3 Pro 5G.
With the one-day-only promo price, the realme 8 5G (4GB) offers better value as it comes withy double the internal storage and a higher-resolution selfie snapper.
