OPPO releasing Find X3 Series Come March

OPPO announced that they’ll be releasing the Find X3 series in two months, after hinting on their Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site, with a post saying “#ImpossibleSurface in March.” According to reliable leaks, the new series combines some of the noteworthy features from the OPPO Reno 5 and OPPO Find X2 models.

The Find X3 series may have a Pro and a Lite model where the Find X3 lite may likely be a rebranded OPPO Reno 5 according to Evan Blass. The Find X2 series is noted for its good photo effects thanks to its customized lens and software optimizations, and we expect the OPPO Find X3 to offer improved camera performance as well as new AI tricks.

The upcoming OPPO Find X3 series is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, a speculated 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz variable refresh rate and 10-bit color depth with 2K resolution. The leaked renders also show that the phone has a large curvature on the back which is quite different from what we’re seeing with other phones today, and no front camera module on the front, hinting at the debut of the under-screen selfie module that the brand has been working on for years.

The rumors say that the phone may sport three rear cameras, one of which could be a Sony IMX766 50 MP for its main camera, which is likely since it was the same sensor that was used on the OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ 5G. The phone is also likely to 65W fast charging when it debuts.
