Is Samsung releasing a higher-spec’d Galaxy S5?
If the mostly plastic Galaxy S5 didn’t please you when it was released by the Korean company a few months ago, then you might want to listen up. According to Phone Arena, the company is revving up to produce a more premium, higher spec’d model dubbed the Galaxy S5 Prime, and purportedly have photos showing the yet to be announced product. The photos show an aluminum body instead of the plastic one, a more pronounced curved on the back and a re-positioned speaker grille.
Addtionally, the Galaxy S5 Prime is rumored to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor, instead of the 801 that’s currently in the S5. Other chnages include a faster Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and a 5.2-inch, 1440 x 2560 resolution display.
According to Phone Arena’s source, the Galaxy S5 Prime is currently undergoing testing.
