5. HONOR X7b – 18 hours 44 minutes
HONOR is one of the first brands to offer big batteries on their budget phones, and the X7b was an impressive attempt. Armed with a 6000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 680 processor that’s known for power efficiency, we were able to get a battery life of 18 hours and 44 minutes. That’s a solid feat considering that the X7b was only priced at under Php 10k—and that you’re getting that battery life with a Full HD+ display.
4. vivo Y28 – 19 hours 53 minutes
If you read our midrange listicles, you know that you expect to see vivo in this list. The Y28 is their contender for the budget segment, and is the first time vivo offered a phone with a 6000mAh battery in the Philippines. While the Helio G85 processor powering it is not the an efficient chip, the Y28 managed to stretch its legs well with a battery life of 19 hours 53 minutes—or close to 20 hours. Aside from the large capacity, the Y28’s excellent power efficiency can be credited to vivo’s software optimization.
3. realme Note 50 – 19 hours 29 minutes
realme surprised us early this year with the Note 50 as a proof that they can offer a decent phone at under Php 4k. The brand did a solid in terms of the features you get at an under Php 4k price point, but what impressed is is its battery life. While it uses a dated Unisoc T612 chip, it’s impressive that realmeUI’s software optimization was able to push the Note 50 to have a battery life of around 19.5 hours. That’s an impressive feat, especially the fact that the Note 50 starts at just under Php 4k.
2. realme C67 – 19 hours 50 minutes
One thing we like about realme this year is that realmeUI’s optimizations have improvements with power management. That also applies to the C67, which managed to stretch its 5000mAh battery with a battery life that’s close to 20 hours. Aside from realmeUI being excellent with power management, the C67’s battery life can also be credited to realme’s decision to use a Snapdragon 685, which is an updated (and slightly overclocked) version of the more popular Snapdragon 680. It’s also insane that the C67 achieved that with a Full HD+ display resolution.

Fresh from its official launch in the Philippines, HONOR takes the crown with the X7c having the best battery life—not just in the budget segment, but in all of the phones we have reviewed in 2024. The X7c has the perfect combination of a huge 6000mAh battery, a power-efficient Snapdragon 685 processor, and proper optimizations with MagicOS 8.0. Beyond its solid battery life, the X7c positions itself as a phone that can literally last you a long time by being one of the few budget phones to have an IP64 rating.
