PLDT Home has announced a brand new version of its long-running TVolution home streaming device. The company this time around, has partnered with US-based Roku for the new iteration of their product.
The new version of the TVolution is essentially a Roku 3 with several tweaks and enhancements for the local market which includes access to Cignal as well as streaming service iFlix and Netflix. The streaming box is also capable of running local content via USB and can connect to your NAS so you can stream your other stuff directly onto your TV as well.
The new Roku-powered TVolution will be available for PLDT Home subscribers, and you’ll only need to add Php 199 a month (for 36 months) for one. As an added bonus, you’ll get a trial plan of Cignal’s HD TV Plan 1590 as well as built in iFlix subscription. PLDT Home Fibr subs also get exclusive offers which include no delivery and no cash out charges.
