Following its reveal in Vietnam last month, POCO is bringing over the entry-level C40 to the Philippines with an under-Php 8k price tag. To further entice customers, the C40 will have an under Php 6k price come July 15.

To recap, the C40 is a unique device as it uses an unusual processor in the form of the JLQ JR510 octa-core processor, which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.  It comes with a dual-rear camera setup that consists of a 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The C40’s display is a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS display that has a notch for the 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It’s a compelling budget smartphone, as it packs a large 6000mAh battery inside, along with support for 18w USB-C charging. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 11-based MIUI 13 (for POCO)
