POCO X6 Series Launching Globally on January 11

While Xiaomi will be launching the Redmi Note 13 series in India on January 4, POCO will be unveiling the X6 Series a week later on January 11. Unlike with the Redmi Note 13 series, POCO confirmed that the X6 series will have a global launch.

Just as previously speculated, the POCO X6 Pro will be based on the Redmi K70e while the POCO X6 will be based on the Redmi Note 13 Pro. They are not complete rebrands, as there are a few differences.

An Amazon listing confirms the key specs of the X6 Pro, which includes a Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, a 6.67-inch 120hz OLED display with a 1.5k resolution and a punch-hole for a 16-megapixel shooter, and a large 5500mAh battery with support for 67w charging. The China-only Redmi K70e supports 90w charging, and that’s the only key difference of the POCO X6 Pro.

The X6 Pro’s triple rear camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel main shooter with OIS and is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro camera.

Moving to the POCO X6, its key specs include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 6.67-inch 120hz OLED display with a 1.5k resolution and a punch-hole for a 16-megapixel shooter, and a 5100mAh battery with support for 67w charging. Unlike the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the POCO X6 only has a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS–its Redmi Note sibling gets a 200-megapixel sensor sans OIS.

Both Amazon listings show the POCO X6 and X6 Pro in a 12GB/512GB configuration. The POCO X6 is priced at AED 1149(~Php 17.5k), while the X6 Pro is priced at AED 1299(~Php 20k). Pricing may still change, but we expect the possible pricing of the POCO X6 series in the Philippines to fall within that range.
