POCO, Xiaomi Confirms Delayed Shipments Due to COVID-19

Did you place an order on either the POCO X4 Pro 5G, M4 Pro 4G, or any other POCO phones lately? In case you experienced any delayed shipments, POCO has released a statement in their official Shopee store that the COVID-19 pandemic is the cause for it.

In its statement, POCO explains that its shipping partners in Shenzen and Hong Kong “are affected badly by the COVID-19 pandemic” and notes that the delayed shipments may last for around 20 days depending on the current situation.

it also appears that other brands are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Xiaomi Global store in Shopee also posted the same advisory as well. There’s no word yet for other brands if they are also affected by delays, but there’s a good chance that they might be affected as well–especially if the products will be coming from China.

This follows after China imposed another round of lockdowns as it battles its biggest COVID-19 outbreak in two years, where the Omicron strain has spread through various cities and provinces. Shenzen is affected, as cargo ships are barred from leaving Shenzen port due to COVID-19 restrictions, on top of manufacturing plants and warehouses order to be closed.
