BlackBerry may be halting in-house phone development, but the Canadian company has promised to release one last phone before it completely focuses on software and not hardware. BlackBerry CEO John Chen has earlier confirmed with Bloomberg that they’ll be releasing a phone with a physical QWERTY keyboard in the next few months, and it looks like we’re seeing exactly that in this leak.
The new phone, codenamed Mercury, sports a full QWERTY keyboard that the Canadian company is known for. Other BlackBerry phones with physical keyboards hasn’t fared well, partly because of their higher price tags compared to the competition, and partly because of BlackBerry’s late adoption of the Android ecosystem.
