Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8150 Crushes Kirin 980 and A12 Bionic in Alleged AnTuTu Benchmarks

The most powerful processor out there?

As Huawei and Apple launched their latest 7nm processors a few months ago, everyone is waiting for Qualcomm’s upcoming 7nm chip. Rumored to be called the Snapdragon 8150 (or 855), there’s little detail about this flagship processor.

A Weibo post shared details about the Snapdragon 8150’s AnTuTu score. With an overall score of 362292, the Snapdragon 8150 is slated to be more powerful than the Kirin 980 and A12 Bionic.

According to the post, the Snapdragon 8150 has an unusual 1+3+4 core configuration: the lone high-performance core is a Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.84Ghz and the 3 medium-performance cores are the same Cortex-A76 cores but clocked at 2.4Ghz. Rounding up the setup are 4 low-performance cores consisting of Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.78Ghz.

As for GPU performance, the same post claims that it is 20% better than the Adreno 630 GPU found on the Snapdragon 845. As of this writing, only the Rouyu FlexPai is confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8150.
