It seems that realme is making some of its China-only V-series phones available globally–with Thailand and India as its first markets. One of these models is the V13 5G, which became official in India as the 8 5G.

Like its China-only sibling, the realme 8 5G aims to be an affordable 5G device for everyone. It shares practically the same features with the V13 5G: these include a Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB/8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 18w wired charging.
The similarities even extend to the display and cameras: for the former, you are also getting a 6.52-inch Full HD+ panel with 90hz refresh rate and a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie snapper (making it the only key difference from the realme V13 5G). As for the latter, we are talking of a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel Samsung GM1 main rear camera and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, headphone jack, and Dynamic RAM Expansion. The latter essentially makes use of the internal storage as virtual RAM, adding up to 3GB depending on the variant you are getting.
realme 8 5G Price
While there is no word yet about the 4GB/128GB variant, the 8GB/128GB variant is on pre-order in Thailand for 9,999 Baht(~Php 15.5k). We know that it will be made available in India soon, which means there’s a good chance that realme might make the 8 5G available in the Philippines soon.
