realme shines at MWC 2023 by making its insane 240w charging tech official globally with the GT3. Being based on the China-only GT Neo 5, the GT3 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and comes with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to a whopping 1TB UFS 3.1 storage–another first for realme.
As the brand’s flagship product for 2023, the GT3 has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 144hz refresh rate and support for 10-bit color. It has an unconventional 2772×1240 (1.5k) resolution and has a 1500hz touch sampling rate for demanding tasks like gaming.
Keeping the lights on the GT3 is a 4600mAh battery. Paired with 240w wired charging, realme claims that you can top up the GT3 to 100% in under 10 minutes–while a 30-second charge will give you 2 hours of talk time.
To keep temps stable, realme equipped the GT3 with an 8-component cooling solution that includes a vapor chamber and multiple layers of graphite. Even with its 240w charging solution, realme said that the phone is able to withstand 1600 cycles (from 0 to 100%) while keeping its battery health at 80%.
Beyond its insane charging speed, the GT2 has a triple rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor that has OIS, a 6P lens, and an f/1.9 aperture. Joining it are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Selfies are taken care of by a 16-megapixel sensor.
Just like the GT Neo 5, you get an RGB rectangle beside the camera module, which acts as a customizable notification light.
The realme GT3 starts at $649(~Php 36k) for the 8GB/128GB variant.
