While not all global markets got their hands on the GT7 Pro, realme might have a better offering with the GT7 as its flagship killer. Announced in China, the GT7 shares the same design language as the Pro model but with several differences.
Starting off with the internals, the GT7 comes with a Dimensity 9400+ that’s paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Do note, however, that the global version of the GT7 might use a Dimensity 9300+, but we hope the global version is the same as the Chinese version on the processor aspect.
The display is a 6.8-inch 144hz AMOLED panel, but it is not an LTPO one, so you don’t get variable refresh rate. Peak brightness is at 1800nits, and the display supports HDR video content and 10-bit colors. You still get an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner like the Pro model.
Despite being slightly smaller and thinner than the Pro model, the standard GT7 packs a larger 7200mAh battery inside, though charging speeds are slightly slower at 100W. You also get second-generation bypass charging, which allows you to draw power directly from the charger to preserve battery health. The glass fiber back cover works along with the graphene layer to help in heat dissipation.
One compromise with the standard GT7 is with the rear cameras, where you only get a 50-megapixel IMX896 sensor for the main camera and a familiar 8-megapixel OV08D10 sensor for the ultrawide camera–with the former being able to shoot up to 4K60 video.  The selfie camera remains the same 16-megapixel IMX480 that can shoot up to 1080p60 video.
The realme GT7 starts at CNY 2600(~Php 21k) for the 12GB/256GB model and goes up to CNY 3800(~Php 30k) for the 16GB/1TB variant. There are reports that it will go global soon, but with slight differences.
