Realme officially launched the Pad 2Â in the Philippines on October 13, promising an incredible media consumption experience for its asking price of Php 13,999.
Just to recap, the Realme Pad 2 sports an 11.5-inch 120hz IPS screen with a 2K resolution and a marketed peak brightness of 450 nits. You get a quad-speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos to make the Pad an all-around entertainment device. Running the tablet is MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC. The Helio G99’s Mali-G57 MC2 GPU is the same one that’s found on the similarly specced but more expensive Realme 11 5G, a device that was found to be able to run games like Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile, and Asphalt 9 pretty well.
And for those uninterested in gaming or watching movies, the Pad 2 seems like it can still be a capable partner for work or artsy hobbies as Realme markets it as being “made for perfect creation.” As the tablet has a massive 8360 mAh battery, weighs just 516 grams, is only 7.2mm thin, and supports micro SD expansion, it’s possible to use the Realme Pad 2 for just about anything.
It might be a good idea to upgrade from the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage to the decked-out with 8GB/256GB version if you are a power user. The higher variant of the realme Pad 2 is priced at Php 17,999 in the Philippines, which is a decent price for a mid-range tablet. To sweeten the deal, realme is currently bundling a TechLife Portable Blender 40W worth Php 999 with every Pad 2 purchase until October 19 in the Philippines.
