It has been a while since realme had a new tablet, and they finally announced a new model with the Pad 2. With specs that slot itself between the original Pad and Pad X, the Pad 2 has an 11.5-inch 120hz IPS display with a 2000×1200 resolution and an 8-megapixel selfie camera that’s housed on the top bezel in landscape mode. Powering it is a Helio G99 processor that’s paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage–the latter being expandable via MicroSD. The rear camera is an 8-megapixel shooter, and you do get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with the Pad 2.
The Pad 2 gets a quad-speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos while keeping the lights on is an 8360mAh battery that supports 33w SuperVOOC charging. There’s also LTE connectivity in case you prefer to use mobile data, and it comes with realme UI 4.0 for Pad out of the box. Unlike the Pad and Pad X, the Pad 2 is also offered in an Inspiration Green colorway.
The realme Pad 2 is priced at INR 19,999(~Php 14k) for the 6GB/128GB model and INR 22,999(~Php 16k) for the 8GB/256GB model. There’s a good chance that we get to see the Pad 2 in the Philippines given that we got the Pad, Pad Mini, and Pad X previously.
