Realme’s Next Phone to Pack a 120hz AMOLED Display

With IFA 2020 happening in a few weeks’ time, Realme has shared some details on what it plans to release during the annual convention. In a new series of posters, the upcoming phone—which is said to be the X7 series—will have a 120hz AMOLED display—a first for Realme considering its phones with 120hz panels use IPS.

The X7 series will have 5G connectivity, and reports from Digital Chat Station indicate that the display will be sourced from Samsung and have a 6.55-inch Full HD+ resolution. The panel will have a punch-hole for the 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

The X7 (or X7 Pro) was also spotted on TENAA with a rectangle-shaped module housing four cameras: 64-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Powering it is a yet-unknown 2.6Ghz octa-core processor that is speculated to be the Dimensity 1000+ and will have 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The battery is said to be a two-cell configuration with a 4500mAh capacity, and has support for Realme’s 65w SuperDart wired charging.

We should know more about the Realme X7 series come September 1.
