It’s no secret that the Snapdragon 8 Elite is a powerful 2025 flagship chip–but what if you take it to the Extreme? That’s the point of the Red Magic 10 Pro series, where they use an Extreme Edition of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
They follow recent flagship trends with large batteries, as the Pro version has a 6500mAh battery with 80w wired charging. The Pro+ version takes things another notch with a 7050mAh silicon-nitride battery with 120w charging that sounds like a dream for any smartphone user.
As for RAM and storage configurations, the Pro model comes with up to 512GB storage and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, while the Pro model comes with up to 1TB storage and up to 24GB RAM. Both models use UFS 4.1 storage, which is a new standard that’s faster than UFS 4.0
Since we’re talking about a gaming phone, the Red Magic 10 Pro feature a complex thermal management system that consists of a 12,000mm2 3D ice-step vapor chamber, a 5,2000mm2 copper foil, a graphene layer, liquid cooling, and a fan that spins at up to 23000rpm. You also get 520hz shoulder keys for your gaming needs, and Red Magic managed to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack on the 10 Pro series. There’s also a dedicated Red Core R3 chip inside that supports up to 120FPS gaming and 2K resolution.
For the display, both Red Magic 10 Pro models use a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, 144hz refresh rate, 960hz touch sampling, and 2000nits peak brightness. Like their predecessors, it’s free of any punch-holes and hides a 16-megapixel selfie camera underneath it.
While it is a gaming phone primarily, you do get a decent camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel OV50E40 main camera, 50-megapixel OV50D ultra-wide camera, and a filler camera.
The Red Magic 10 Pro starts at CNY 5299(~Php 43.1k) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the Pro+ starts at CNY 5,999(~Php 48.8k) for the 16GB/512GB model. Both versions will go global starting in Europe (and eventually in other parts of the world) on December 3.
