Xiaomi is set to unveil the Redmi 13 soon, and a listing reveals all of the things you need to know about it. It does look similar to last year’s Redmi 12, but you’re getting a few upgrades with it.
One of the key upgrades of the Redmi 13 over its predecessor is its use of a Helio G91 processor. While it is widely based on the Helio G85 and G88, the G91 has an updated ISP that natively supports 108-megapixel cameras. That being said, you do get a 108-megapixel main camera to make the most out of its processor upgrade. The sensor used was not disclosed, but we presume that it might be an ISOCELL HM6.
Charging speeds are also better with the Redmi 13’s use of 33w wired charging The ultra-wide camera has been dropped for a 2-megapixel filler camera, though the selfie camera has been upgraded to a 13-megapixel shooter. For software, you get HyperOS out of the box.
Save for those differences, the Redmi 13 retains most of the features of the Redmi 12. These include the 6.79-inch 90hz IPS display, 5000mAh battery, IP53 rating, and a headphone jack.
The Redmi 13 is priced at 199 Euros(~Php 12.7k) for the 6GB/128GB variant and 229 Euros (~Php 14.7k) for the 8GB/256GB variant, but expect the price to be lower when it becomes available in the Philippines.
