After it was announced globally a few weeks ago, Xiaomi Philippines announced that the Redmi 13C will have a starting price of Php 4,999 for the online-exclusive 4GB/128GB variant. The Redmi 13C variants that will be sold through official Xiaomi stores and partner retailers in the Philippines are the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants, which have an official price of Php 5,499 and Php 6,499 respectively.
Those who will buy the Redmi 13C this month will get a 3-month Viu Premium subscription, which is valued at Php 349.
As an upgrade to the Redmi 12C, the Redmi 13C gets a USB-C port that supports 18w charging for its 5000mAh battery. It also features a flat frame design, a sleek 8.09mm thin profile, and a smooth back panel with two camera rings that house a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an auxiliary camera.
The Redmi 13C’s display gets a smoother 90hz refresh rate while powering it is a Helio G85 processor. Despite using the same processor and camera hardware as its predecessor, Xiaomi tweaked the Redmi 13C’s camera software to offer improved capture speed when using night mode for both photo and video, on top of offering 10 film camera filters for added creativity options.
