While we are waiting for the Redmi Note 14 series, Xiaomi kicks off the Redmi 14 series India with the entry-level 14C. It has a different design that is similar to what we see from other brands lately with a large circle in the middle with two cameras and an LED flash.

Aside from the new design, it uses a “new” Helio G81 processor, which is based on the Helio G80. That being said, you’re getting the same Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2Ghz. Configuration options include up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
Making the Redmi 14C standout is its large 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with a 120hz refresh rate and a HD+ resolution. The chin is rather thick based on renders, and the notch houses a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
Other features include a 5160mAh battery with support for 18w charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dual-rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel shooter, and Android 14 out of the box.
While Xiaomi did not reveal official pricing, the Redmi 13C is already available from retailers in the Czech Republic, with pricing as follows:
- 4GB/128GB – CZK 2,999 (~Php 7.5k)
- 8GB/256GB – CZK 3,699 (~Php 9.5k)
Expect Xiaomi to make this available to more markets including the Philippines soon.
