Aside from the global unveiling of the entire Redmi Note 13 series, Xiaomi also announced new Redmi aIoT products at their grand launch in Thailand including the Redmi Buds 5, Redmi Buds 5 Pro, and Redmi Watch 4–with all three products being available in the Philippines as well.
The standard Redmi Buds 5 has an under Php 2k price in the Philippines and is one of the most affordable TWS earbuds to have ANC. The Redmi Buds 5’s ANC capabilities can filter up to 46db of noise and have three modes to cover different forms of background noise. To complement its ANC settings, the Redmi Buds 5 has three transparency modes to suit your needs. The Redmi Buds 5 are rated for up to 10 hours on a single charge (with ANC off) and up to 40 hours with the charging case.
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro, on the other hand, adds support for Hi-Res audio with the LDAC codec, along with a better ANC performance at up to 52db of noise cancellation. You also benefit from 5 different EQ profiles, along with up to 10 hours of use on a single charge and up to 38 hours with the battery case. With a Php 3.4k price in the Philippines, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro is an affordable pair of TWS earbuds for those who want Hi-Res wireless audio.
Completing the 2024 line of Redmi aIoT products is the Watch 4, which has a large 1.97-inch AMOLED display for viewing all of your essential health data. It also looks premium with its aluminum alloy frame and a stainless steel crown for operating most of its functions. Changing straps on the Watch 4 is easy with its quick-release mechanism, and its health tracking functions include an upgraded 4-channel PPG sensor for more accurate monitoring of blood oxygen and heart rate.
