Global Markets Getting A 5G Version Of The Redmi Note 10

Redmi Note 10 5G four colorsNot included during India’s Redmi Note 10 announcement was the global, 5G variant of the phone. The Redmi Note 10 5G is a version of the phone that will almost certainly arrive in the Philippines, with the phone expected to launch in global markets around April.

Redmi Note 10 5G front

This global, 5G-capable variant of the phone sports an LCD display, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Battery charging speed is lower at just 18W fast charging VS the 33W of its siblings, and the phone has a triple camera module at its rear, headlined by a 48-megapixel main shooter.

The processor is a MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G-capable one, and the phone will come in either 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage flavors.

It’s a relatively lower-spec option from the other phones announced by Redmi, but it’s targeted at the lower end of the market that needs a budget option to utilize the 5G networks of their telcos.

Redmi Note 10 5G Price Philippines

The smartphone is priced at USD 199 (Php 9,7k) for its 4GB/64GB variant and USD 229 (Php 11,1K) for the 4GB/128GB variant.

It’s likely that Redmi is striking a compromise between the smartphone’s 5G feature and affordability hence the slight downgrade from standard features that can be found on the other members of the family.
