Renders of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 Surface

Renders of the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 Surface

With Samsung’s H2 main event having the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 as its key releases, alleged renders for both foldable phones have surfaced ahead of the next Unpacked Event.

Shared by Evan Blass, these official-looking renders do confirm that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will still have a punch-hole camera for its foldable inner display, contrary to initial speculation that it will be one of the first Samsung phones to utilize an under-display camera solution. What will be new to the Galaxy Z Fold3 is that it will have support for S-Pen. However, we’re not sure if you can use any S-Pen with it, like the one included in the renders has a “Fold Edition” branding. For the triple rear camera setup, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will have a more subtle design, and it will most likely be the same set of snappers found on the Galaxy Z Fold2, which consists of a high-resolution main camera, ultra-wide-angle camera, and a conventional 3x telephoto camera.

We can’t tell for now if the Galaxy Z Fold3 will be slimmer than its predecessor, but there’s a good chance that Samsung might be able to find a way to do so. We’re also not sure if Samsung has minimized the screen gap based on these renders.

Moving on to the Galaxy Z Flip3, the upcoming clamshell phone will employ a dual-tone design, where the area with the dual cameras and display is in black. The outer display is notably bigger compared to its predecessor, and the same goes for the dual rear cameras. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip3 is expected to have a metal frame and a glass outer body.

We do not know when both phones will be unveiled, though Samsung did say that it will be having an MWC event on June 28–maybe we will be able to know more about both foldable phones by then.
